Domain Locking?

Domain names can be locked to protect against unauthorized changes. This status is called "Registrar lock"

In short it prevents a domain from being moved to another company without the customer approving this.

In order for a customer to approve this they must first turn the domain lock off.

The domain lock is unlocked on initial purchase and is the clients responsibility to turn the lock on to protect from any unauthorised domain transfer

How to Manage Domain Lock
