How do I override the php.ini file on my account?

PHP settings on our shared hosting plans are controlled by Cloudlinux. This allows us to have finer control over what PHP settings can be modified. To modify PHP settings for your account follow these steps

  1. Login to cPanel and navigate to "Select PHP Version"
  2. From the PHP Version dropdown menu select the PHP version you would like to use. You cannot modify PHP options for the native version.
  3. Click the Set as Current button to choose your selected version
  4. There will be a link on the right hand side that says Switch to PHP Options. Click on this
  5. On the following page you can change any options by clicking on the value then Apply when done with that option
  6. Click Save at the bottom of the page to save all changes
These changes will be applied instantly. If you need additional PHP options changed that are not available on the list, contact support and we will see if the option can be allowed.
