Part of Google Chrome's latest update any website that isn't loaded over https will display a "Not Secure" in the address bar next to your domain name. To get rid of this message, you will need to have an SSL certificate installed on your domain and setup a redirect for all traffic to https.
The good news is, all your domains hosting with Relentless Hosting get a Free SSL certificate. This will be automatically installed for you when, as long as your domain name is pointed to our hosting servers. You can check the status of SSL for your domains in cPanel using the "SSL/TLS Status" tool.
Once you have a valid SSL certificate, you can setup an automatic redirect to HTTPS as follows:
- Login to cPanel at yourdomain.com/cpanel . Check your welcome email for the details if you have forgotten them
- Navigate to "Domains" using the search bar
- Click the toggle under "Force HTTPS Redirect" to "On" for the domain you wish to redirect.
- The changes will take about 5 minutes to take effect
If the "Force HTTPS Redirect" option isn't available for the selected domain, you will need to ensure the SSL certificate has been installed. Check the status of your domain under "SSL/TLS" status and resolve any errors mentioned.
